Dog Gone It

I’ve done this topic on my blog before but I was thinking it might be interesting once again to see how an image starts out with the HORRIBLE  sketch I’ve done in front of my customer and then how I take it to finished art.  The middle image here is the  watercolor under painting. Originally I’d planned on going darker with the pencil/charcoal final painting but I figured it was best to  ease back and let the colors come through more.
